AIR COOLED CONDENSERS

AirFrige® Air Cooled Condensers is the result of an extensive development program. It is an integral combination of three major components: the heat exchanger coil; the air movement package and the steel supporting frame.
The Heat Exchanger Coil

  • PRIMARY SURFACE is round seamless 3/8"or ½" o.d. copper tube, staggered in the direction of air flow.
  • SECONDARY SURFACE consists of corrugated aluminum or copper plate fins.
  • FIN SPACING at 2,1mm
  • HEADERS are of seamless copper tubing.
  • TESTING PRESSURE : condenser coils are tested at 30 bar.
The Air Movement Package
Direct driven fans with low noise levels, lightweight construction and low level of vibration, with unique aerodynamic performance provide the greatest degree of reliability by being tested to the latest international standards. Motors are of the totally enclosed, squirrel cage induction, continuous duty, variable torque type constructed from aluminum, suitable for horizontal through to vertical shaft operation, weatherproof IP55, insulation F. 2-speed operation by delta/star reconnection is available.

Steel Supporting Frame

It is an all-bolted steel construction designed to withstand the most adverse weather conditions. All components are constructed of heavy duty gauge galvanized steel. Double brake flanges maximize strength of panels. Full baffles separate individual fan sections.

Air Cooled Condensers are manufactured in 12 sizes with a heat of rejection capacity ranging from 54 kW to 468 kW.

Noise Level (Lp) is measured at a distance of 10 m. Figures refer to high/low speed, respectively with delta/star reconnect.
